1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and also a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them, and even managed to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes was unable to navigate down the stairs in one step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or rug.
After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills its water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. In order to do this, you'll have to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides a powerful solution for cleaning. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. automated vacuum mopping capability is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.
This robot combination is simple to set up and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the process. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach and two water tanks that are automatically emptied and refilled whenever needed. It also comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that effortlessly picks up most of the debris, and even tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it can get stuck on small mats and rugs at my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good and include a pair of mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just moving the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station whenever needed. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station if required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our best mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.
Its navigation is smart it can navigate through narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can easily move from one room to another without reversing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than some competitors however, and tends to leave a thick distance around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The app features a simple, intuitive interface that should be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter suction power, mop setting as well as look up 3-D and 2-D maps. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video supervision. You'll need a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

Even though it's not able to clean your floors, the Q5 has the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart application that lets you choose your floor's type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out, with a 2700Pa power that can combat pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any trouble with high-pile carpets and area carpets, but it didn't clean up kitty litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
